This is our first coffee directly sourced from the farmers of the Manos Campesinas cooperative. It’s clean and pleasantly smooth, with notes of hibiscus, orange, and honey. It has a medium acidity and a medium-light body, and is certified organic.
When brewed as espresso, you’ll also uncover hints of gingerbread and roasted almonds, complemented by a low acidity.

Manos Campesinas cooperative
Manos Campesinas was founded in 1997 and is a significant cooperative organization consisting of 15 affiliated cooperatives, with a total of 1,300 individual members. The cooperative is deeply rooted in the indigenous culture of the region, with 95% of its members being indigenous people who speak their own Mayan languages and maintain unique cultural practices.
As part of the Roasters United initiative, in recent years, we have had the privilege of visiting producers from some of the key groups within the Manos Campesinas organization, including ACIPACU, Apecafel, and ADEBIPROM. Through these visits and ongoing relationships, we have been able to source high-quality organic coffee from these dedicated farmers, supporting their efforts to produce sustainable and exceptional coffee.
The cooperative plays a crucial role in fostering indigenous communities, promoting fair trade practices, and ensuring that coffee production remains a viable and empowering industry for future generations. By working directly with these groups, we contribute to the sustainable development of both the farmers and their local communities.
