Los Nogales
Farma Los Nogales is a prestigious, family-owned coffee plantation located in the Huila region of Colombia. Founded in 1940 by the Hernandez family, it is now managed by Oscar Hernandez, the son of Ricaurte Hernandez, who gained international recognition by winning the Colombian Cup of Excellence in 2006. Oscar's efforts played a key role in establishing the Bruselas region as one of the top coffee-producing areas in Colombia.
Farma Los Nogales operates on three core principles:
- Sustainability: The farm adopts a holistic approach to environmental protection, using organic fertilizers and farming practices that promote long-term soil fertility.
- High-quality genetic material: The farm cultivates both traditional Colombian Arabica varieties and innovative, resilient species such as Gesha and Sudan Rume.
- Innovation and passion: Led by Oscar Hernandez, the farm integrates scientific knowledge with practical experience, embracing modern technologies and solutions in the coffee production process.

Geisha Petal Perfume
Los Nogales Petal Perfume is a coffee crafted using an exclusive processing method that delivers a distinct and exceptional taste and aroma. Here's a breakdown of the steps involved in this unique process:
- Selection of Ripe Cherries: Only the best cherries are handpicked, ensuring the highest flavor quality.
- Cleaning and Disinfection: The cherries are carefully cleaned and disinfected with water to remove any impurities and ensure purity in the coffee.
- Sorting by Density: The beans are sorted in water based on their density, with only the highest quality beans selected.
- Thermal Shock: A 20-second thermal shock is applied to the beans, which helps distribute sugars evenly and aids in pasteurization, preparing them for the fermentation process.
- Depulping: The beans are depulped, and the natural sugars from the fruit are introduced into the fermentation process, enriching the flavor profile and intensity of the coffee.
- Fermentation: The fermentation lasts 120 hours, allowing the beans to develop a unique acidity and deep flavor notes.
- Sun-Drying: Finally, the beans are sun-dried for 15 days to reach the perfect moisture level, fully developing their complex and aromatic flavor.
The result is a coffee with vibrant acidity, exceptional depth, and a remarkable fragrance that lives up to the "Petal Perfume" name.
